When Promos Unlimited reached out about updating their storefront window signage, the goal was simple: make the space more eye-catching, more modern, and more reflective of what they actually do. The old window did the job, but it wasn’t working hard enough to stop foot traffic or communicate the brand’s full personality.

The original front window signage was minimal and dark, blending into the brick storefront instead of standing out from it. While it displayed basic information, it lacked energy and visual hierarchy. From across the street, it didn’t immediately communicate “custom printing and branding experts.” That’s a missed opportunity when your storefront is essentially a 24/7 billboard.
For the new design, I wanted to lean into what Promos Unlimited does best: printing, embroidery, signs, and promotional branding. That inspired the use of bold CMYK-style color elements, which instantly tie back to the print world while adding visual excitement.
Key goals for the redesign included:
Creating strong contrast for easy readability
Using vertical layout to maximize the narrow window space
Incorporating vibrant color to attract attention from passing traffic
Clearly listing services in a clean, organized way
The finished window transformed the entire front of the building. The new signage feels modern, energetic, and professional. It now acts as both branding and advertising, pulling the eye in and immediately communicating what Promos Unlimited offers.
One of my favorite parts of this project is how much brighter and more inviting the storefront feels. Even on cloudy days, the color helps the space stand out and creates a stronger street presence.
Front window graphics are one of the most underrated branding tools. They’re cost-effective, always visible, and can completely change how people perceive your business before they ever walk through the door.
This project is a great example of how thoughtful design can turn unused glass space into a powerful marketing asset. If you’re thinking about upgrading your storefront, window signage is one of the best places to start.
